CEED is a national exam for entering Master’s degree design programmes (M.Des) in IITs, IISc, and selected government/private institutes. It tests how clearly you think and how convincingly you express ideas.

*Note: These change every year, please do cross verify from updated official sources.*
CEED has two parts that test two different skill-sets:
Part A (Analytical & Aptitude Skills)
Computer-based test with questions on logical reasoning, observation, design awareness, and visual/spatial ability.
Part B (Creative & Visual Skills)
Pen-and-paper section that checks sketching, visualization, storytelling, and idea communication.
(Both sections together usually make the exam ~3 hours long. Part A screens candidates; only shortlisted students get Part B evaluated.).
